DKRW Energy Partners LLC

DKRW Energy Partners LLC (“Partners”) founded DKRW Energy LLC and its various subsidiaries (“DKRW”) in 2002 and retains a significant ownership position today.  Partners’ current members are Jon C. Doyle, Robert C. Kelly, H. David Ramm and Thomas E. White.

Jon C. Doyle

Jon was a founding member of Partners’ and of DKRW and participated in the startup and management of each of DKRW’s businesses: domestic wind project development, natural gas infrastructure work for northwest Mexico and commercialization of coal-to-liquids conversion processes.  Jon remains an active employee in DKRW as the Chief Executive Officer of DKRW Advanced Fuels LLC.  He is also a Director of DKRW Energy LLC, and two of its subsidiary companies DKRW Wind and DKRW Advanced Fuels.

Prior to co-founding DKRW, Jon served as President of IES Communications, a subsidiary of Integrated Electrical Services, a NYSE-traded Fortune 1,000 company. From 1997 to 1999, he was responsible for global renewable energy development within Enron International. In 1996, while working with the Enron Renewable Energy Corporation, Jon led development activities in Asia.

Jon earned his M.B.A. from the American Graduate School of International Management in Arizona and a B.S. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Robert C. Kelly

Bob was a founding member of Partners’ and of DKRW and participated in the startup and management of each of DKRW’s businesses: domestic wind project development, natural gas infrastructure work for northwest Mexico and commercialization of coal-to-liquids conversion processes. Bob remains an active employee in DKRW as the Chairman of DKRW Advanced Fuels LLC.  He is also a Director of two DKRW Energy LLC subsidiary companies, DKRW Advanced Fuels LLC and DKRW’s Sonora Pacific business

Prior to co-founding DKRW, Bob served as interim CEO of EPV, a New Jersey solar photovoltaic manufacturer, and led the successful effort to raise $14 million of new equity. From 1985 to 1997, he held senior executive positions at Enron including president of Enron Cogeneration Company and co-chairman of Amoco/Enron Solar.

While at Enron, Bob formed a number of asset-based businesses in the power sector including Enron Power Corporation, Enron Wind Corp, Amoco/Enron Solar and Enron Renewable Energy Corporation. He led development of the 1,875 MW Teesside power project in the UK.

Bob entered the energy industry following a 13-year career in the Army that included service in Vietnam and as a tenured Professor of Economics at West Point. He holds an M.P.A. and a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University in addition to a B.S. in nuclear engineering from the United States Military Academy.

H. David Ramm

Dave was a founding member of Partners’ and of DKRW and participated in the startup and management of each of DKRW’s businesses: domestic wind project development, natural gas infrastructure work for northwest Mexico and commercialization of coal-to-liquids conversion processes. He left employment at DKRW in 2010 to assume a role as CEO and director at Turner Bros., a Houston based wind industry/refinery oriented heavy lift provider. He is a director of DKRW’s Mexico focused natural gas effort (Sonora Pacific LLC).

Currently Dave is a principal at DyMar Energy LLC, a Houston based energy development and consulting company.

Prior to co-founding DKRW, Dave was president, CEO and a director of Integrated Electrical Services, a NYSE-traded, Fortune 1,000 company. From 1997 to 2000, he served as president of Enron Wind Corporation and managing director of Enron Renewable Energy Corporation.

After service as an Army officer, Dave began his civilian career at United Technologies Corporation where he held senior management positions at Otis Elevator and served as chairman and CEO of UTC Fuel Cells Corporation.

Dave co-founded Blue Rock Energy, a Syracuse, NY electricity/natural gas commodity supplier and serves as a director there. He is also a member of the National Advisory Council for the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory where he chairs the Wind Technical Review Panel and is a member of the President’s Energy Advisory Board at the University of Houston.

Dave holds an M.S. in Management from the Sloan School at MIT, an M.B.A. from Long Island University’s Roth School of Business and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Thomas E. White

Tom White joined DKRW in 2004 and has participated in the development and management of each of DKRW’s businesses: domestic wind project development, natural gas infrastructure work for northwest Mexico and commercialization of coal-to-liquids conversion processes. Tom remains an active employee in DKRW as the Managing Partner for DKRW’s Sonora Pacific business.  He is also a Director of DKRW Energy LLC, and two of its subsidiary companies DKRW Wind and DKRW’s Sonora Pacific business.

From 2001 to 2003, Tom served as Secretary of the Army under President George W. Bush. Prior to his appointment, he was employed by Enron with responsibility for all of the company’s energy infrastructure assets worldwide. Additionally, in 1998, Tom served as Vice Chairman of Enron Energy Services, the unit responsible for domestic retail energy.

Tom holds an M.S. from the United States Naval Postgraduate School and a B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy.
