DKRW initiated the LNG project development in Puerto Libertad, Sonora, Mexico in 2003 by identifying the project site, purchasing the property and raising development capital to engineer and begin site permitting. The Partners at DKRW managed the development of project from inception through 2017 when new capital helped form Mexico Pacific Limited, LLC and brought new management to advance the project.

Vermilion Partners LLC
is led by a team of experienced developers and is currently focused on managing its ownership interest in Mexico Pacific Limited LLC, ("MPL").  MPL is developing a natural gas liquefaction facility on a large, strategically located industrial property in Puerto Libertad on the west coast of Sonora, Mexico.

MPL is in late stage development of the first phase of a planned multi-phase liquefied natural gas ("LNG") facility which is strategically positioned to serve as a bridge between low-cost natural gas from the Permian Basin into the large and growing LNG demand centers in the Pacific Basin.  The Pacific Coast location of this liquefaction facility will have substantial cost and logistical advantages versus US Gulf of Mexico LNG facilities.  MPL has major permits in place for up to 12 MTPA of LNG and in its first phase targets initial construction of 4 MTPA using proven modular LNG technology and world class EPC partners.
